Ergonomics for All: Celebrating PPCOE's 20 years of excellence
You are cordially invited to participate in the 9th Pan-Pacific Conference on Ergonomics (PPCOE) that will be held from November 7-10, 2010 at the Ambassador Hotel in Kaohsiung city, Taiwan. PPCOE 2010 is an international forum aimed to bring together scholars and practitioners around the world to exchange and disseminate the latest developments in ergonomics, and the interplay of these advances between the pan-pacific region and the rest of the world.
PPCOE 2010 evolves from the distinguished Pan-Pacific Conference on Occupational Ergonomics series founded 20 years ago. The successful tracks have taken place in 1990 (KitaKyushu, Japan), 1992 (Wuhan, China), 1994 (Seoul, Korea), 1996 (Taipei, Taiwan), 1998 (KitaKyushu, Japan), 2001 (Beijing, China), 2004 (Cairns, Australia), and 2007 (Bangkok, Thailand). After two decades of collective endeavors, the conferences have established globally recognized excellence in scientific and professional contributions.
Considering the pervasive influence of ergonomics on almost every walk of our lives, PPCOE 2010 will commence an omnivorous platform to diversify the conference horizon beyond simply occupational ergonomics. To address the challenges and prospects, we set Ergonomics for All as the conference theme, hoping to shape a lifestyle and working environments where ergonomics benefits everyone.
