IEA Annual Awards: Promoting Excellence and Collaboration in HFE
The International Ergonomics Association (IEA) is pleased to highlight two major annual awards recognizing outstanding contributions to Human Factors and Ergonomics (HFE) research and education.
1. IEA/Kingfar Award
This award recognizes early career professionals to reward high-quality original research and applications on new/emerging HFE issues, or topics specifically related to industrially developing countries (IDCs), while supporting HFE career paths.
Eligibility: Nominees can be from any country (both IDCs and developed countries).
Categories & Prizes (Up to 13 winners total per year):
PhD Students: Up to 8 awards, $1,000 USD each.
Early Career Scholars/Researchers (within 10 years of completing a PhD): Up to 5 awards, $1,500 USD each.

2. IEA/Tsinghua Award for Collaborative HFE Education
This award honors individuals (researchers, teachers) who, through international and/or inter-regional collaboration, have made significant contributions to the success of postgraduate educational programs that feature substantial HFE curriculum. The goal is to mobilize educators globally for HFE education.
Prizes: Up to 4 programs may be awarded each year.
Representation: Each winning program can be represented by up to two nominees.
Award Amount: A monetary prize of $4,000 USD per selected program.
