Conference Chair : Mao-Jiun Wang Conference Co-Chair: Wen-Ko Chiou General Program Chair: Chin-Jung Chao Call for Papers The 4th International Conference on Healthcare Systems Ergonomics and Patient Safety (HEPS 2014) 23-26 June 2014, Taipei, Taiwan Bridging Research and Good Practices towards Patients Welfare Expected participants Ergonomists Occupational and Organizational Psychologists Physicians Surgeons Dentists Clinical and Biomedical Engineers Clinical Risk and Patient Safety Managers Communication and Human Relations experts Architects and Designers Medical Informatics community Occupational and Organizational Sociologists Anthropologists Nurses Hospital Administration and Management Staff Pharmacists and Pharmacologists Information Technology experts Patients’ and Citizens’ associations Patient Safety Officers and Quality Improvement experts. Submission instructions HEPS 2014 will invite high quality contributions in the form of papers and posters. All contributions should be submitted via the Conference Management System (CMS). Acceptance will be subject to peer reviews in terms of significance, accuracy, and clarity of the proposal. Papers should report original work that has neither been published previously, nor is under consideration for publication elsewhere. The prospective authors will be asked to sign up and login to the CMS in which they will be asked to enter an 800-word proposal as well as other proposal information. The proposal should specify background/purpose, methods, results, and discussion. An evaluation of the submitted proposal will be conducted by at least two independent peer experts from the Scientific Committee. Following the evaluation, the committee will notify the author of the review results according to the timeline designated in Important Dates. The accepted author will then be requested to submit, via CMS, a camera-ready manuscript which is at least 6 pages long but not exceeding ten. Posters are appropriate for work with in-progress or late-breaking findings. The Scientific Committee will carry out an evaluation on a 300-word proposal that should specify the essence of the planned presentation. If accepted, submission of a 3-page extended abstract for inclusion into the Conference Proceedings will be required. Important dates Papers 800-word Proposal: September 10, 2013 Review result notification: November 10, 2013 Camera-ready manuscript: January 10, 2014 Posters 300-word Proposal: January 1, 2014 Review result notification: February 1, 14 Camera-ready extended abstract: March 1, 2014 Publication Plan All accepted final papers and extended poster abstracts will be included in the Conference Proceedings on CD-ROM with an ISBN reference. In addition, the accepted final papers will be published as a monograph book entitled Bridging Research and Good Practices towards Patient Welfare by the CRC Press, an imprint of Taylor and Francis. The book will be sent to Thomson Reuters for index application into the Conference Proceedings Citation Index under the ISI Web of Science. To meet high publication standards, camera-ready manuscripts should strictly conform to the designated formats required by the Scientific Committee. Accepted book authors will also need to sign a copyright consent form, and warrant that the paper contains no materials violating or infringing relevant publication laws. < 返回最新訊息 2012年3月7日星期三 A message from 2012 Congress Chir 附件： 2012 Congress Chir Dear Delegates We have come to the end of our conference. These few days were ones of hard work for the team and me. There were many problems, but we hope that what you will carry away with you in your minds and hearts, are the smiles, the joie de vivre and the warmth with which you were received in Recife. How we wish that this could be only a moment of great happiness! But unfortunately, life presents us with roads that we would otherwise not wish to choose to go down. This is exactly what has just happened. It is with the deepest regret that we announce the death last night of Professor Anamaria de Moraes, from a cause that has not yet been determined. Just yesterday many of you were with Anamaria in various sessions of this congress. I was in a session which was chaired by Anamaria to attend a paper presented by a student of mine. It was the first paper that my student had presented at a conference and it was clear that she, like all first-timers, was highly nervous and unsure of herself. It strongly reminded me of, when in 1991, at the IEA Congress in Paris, still under the supervision of Professor Anamaria, I presented a paper for the first time at an international congress. I also experienced that sensation of trembling all over that first-timers get. But she was at my side and giving me all the support I needed. Anamaria had a special quality that few teachers I have ever known have. She oozed the true sense of what is to be an expert and the satisfaction she derived from sharing her knowledge. While under her supervision, I witnessed what a large number of the students she supervised went to her home for guidance, at that time, having the largest library on Ergonomics in Brazil. It was evident what immense pleasure and satisfaction she felt at seeing her house full of people, discussing and immersing themselves deeply in Ergonomics. I also bore witness to her unparalleled generosity in opening the doors of her home to needy students from other states who came to do research in her home and stayed for days on end and for which it never entered her mind to charge a penny. This generosity, in my opinion, was one of the main qualities of the magnanimous human being we knew as Professor Anamaria de Moraes. Anamaria was a tenured professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. She was founder and a one-time president of the Brazilian Ergonomics Association, took part in several IEA Congresses and was the first Fellow of IEA in Latin America. Anamaria’s greatest passion was Ergonomics. She once told me that she would die happy if she were to do so at a Congress on Ergonomics. I never thought she would take this so seriously. Anamaria will remain in the memories of all who do Ergonomics in Brazil. Her post as the greatest ergonomist in our country will never be filled. Rest in peace, dear friend. Marcelo Soares 上一章 下一章

< 返回最新訊息 2025年3月15日星期六 【學會動態】學會與員榮醫院合作「以人因工程手法優化高階健康檢查作業」 20250314～ 中華民國人因工程學會在與員榮醫院合作的第三個人因改善主題，由王明揚教授、黃育信教授、劉康弘教授，與員榮品安室陳慧如主任、高齡整合照護中心張仁吉主任與社醫部多位同仁就「以人因工程手法優化高階健康檢查作業」一題進行討論。 不同於之前較偏重於病人安全的討論，本次的主題圍繞在如何提供來參與相關服務的VIP健檢客戶更優質的體驗。透過社醫部專員的引導簡介，團隊以第一人稱視角體驗健檢參與者的感受，從地下一樓抽號碼牌開始，經過身高體重、視力檢查、抽血、更衣、電腦斷層掃描，搭電梯至二樓做胃鏡、恢復室休息，搭電梯至一樓後棟做運動心電圖檢查、核磁共振，最終進行家醫科問診及繳費。 實地走訪後回到會議室，人因專家們提出客群分級、導入精實手法等方向來更進一步找出改善的優先標的，計算更具體的成本效益比、回訪率等指標來協助與管理單位及其他部門做溝通，並可以開始進行流程分析及流程再造為未來銜接員榮新院區作準備。會議末了張主任幫參與會議的團隊訂立了接下來階段性的目標，陳主任也提出了具體的執行方式。本次的交流展示了醫療院所另一面向的需求，也凸顯了人因工程在提升高端醫療服務體驗上的重要性。 團隊計劃在下次會議前收集更多數據，包括不同等級方案的人數、各檢查項目的等候時間等，以作為下一階段改善方案設計的基礎。希望透過這樣跨領域的合作模式，為員榮醫院的高階健檢服務注入新思維，也為人因工程在醫療服務領域的應用開拓新的可能性。 上一章 下一章
